RESTORE Physical Therapy is the best place to go for physical therapy and I would recommend anyone who needs restoration therapy to go there. The office is warm and friendly. The staff take their jobs to another level showing care & concern. They take the time to explain to you the procedure and what needs to be done to get you back to your comfortable functioning capacity. They welcome your questions and concerns and do their best to accommodate your working schedule. I went to them with little to no mobility between my wrist and thumb. Unable to lift my thumb straight up due to tendentious in the wrist. Now some months later, I can move my thumb without pain, lift objects without pain and concentrate without focusing on my hand, worrying about the pain I would experience if I use my hand. On a scale of 1-10 (10 being the best) I would rate RESTORE with a 10. Thank you for helping me

I have had two total hip replacements and surgeries on both shoulders with torn rotator cuffs. Over the years I have returned each time to RESTORE for my post op physical therapy because I have found that even over the span of ten years the quality of the personnel and treatment given to me has been excellent. The owner and his staff are extremely knowledgeable, courteous and very friendly. The facility is modern and extremely well equipped. In addition, it is convenient to transportation. I would recommend RESTORE to anyone, young, or old for some of the best Physical Therapy in the New York area.

I came to RESTORE Physical Therapy after suffering for five months with pain from an ankle injury (torn ligaments). The staff was attentive and compassionate. Everyone worked steadfastly to help me recover from my injury and meet my goals. Steve checked on me regularly; even on days when I did not have an appointment with him. After completion of my therapy, I was able to become a fully active participant in my life again. Happily, I have been able to play Capoeira on a frequent basis again. Without reservation, I would refer family and friends to RESTORE.

I have been going to RESTORE PT for a variety of what seems to me to be age related ailments over the years. Each time I come away with the ailment feeling SO much better than when I began. Restore is located close to my office and the convenient location is how I began going to Steven and staff. Now I would not go anywhere else as I believe he and his staff are patient and have a thorough plan when you begin that allows you to continue on your own after you leave. I think the biggest compliment I can give is when I refer co-workers in need of PT to go see Steven and his staff and they all come away happy with the outcome. RESTORE PT was the first stop on my road to recovery after having ACL surgery. The entire staff made me feel welcome the minute I walked through the door. Steve has been my PT for close to 12 years and has treated all of my injuries from my ankle to my shoulder. The last 3 years he has physically prepared me for an annual football camp I attend, and I can say that I would not be physically able to perform without his work. With Steve, it is not what you can't do, it's let's get you back to doing what you were capable of before injury. Steve is quick to diagnose, plan a course of action, and get you on your way to better health. I would not go anywhere else.

My experience with Steve Braverman and the team at RESTORE PT was nothing but top-tier all the way. And nothing said this louder than the final appointment I just had with the surgeonon who repaired my shoulder. [My injury: a torn rotator cuff and torn bicep tendon, both on my right shoulder from foolishly crashing into a steel gate while running to catch a train.]
My surgeon was extremely pleased with what I achieved in rehab. In a few short months I had a fully repaired shoulder with full range of motion. There was nothing I could not do, including a return to 50 push-ups a day. I owe a good part of my recovery to hard work, but I owe most of it to Steve Braverman.
Steve created a personalized rehab plan that incorporated real insight into what had happened to my shoulder, the surgery I had, and what I would need to work on in order to leave with full function and no pain. Every day I was there I learned something new. I did something new. And always had great conversations with Steve (or Rebecca) about where this was all headed. Their new modern facility had all the equipment I would ever need, and I think I played with every machine and exercise device in the room.
The team at Restore PT was very friendly, accommodating, and professional in every respect. I looked forward to every session. And when it became clear that I had made a full recovery I knew I would miss going back. And I did for a while, and sometimes still do.
